Maintaining focus, commitment to excellent customer service and hiring the right people are among the keys to growth for 2011 Atlanta Business Chronicles Pacesetter Awardwinners, the fastest-growing private companies in the metro area.

To qualify, the business had to be privately owned, based in the 20-county metro Atlanta area, and not be subsidiary of another company. It had to have been established in the first quarter of the 2008 or earlier; experienced a two-year growth in sales of more than 50 percent; and garnered revenue between $1 million and $300 million in 2010.

Key Property Solutions, LLC

With several years of steady growth through 2008, residential real estate services providers Key Property Solutions LLC was able to gain access to private capital that enabled it to significantly expand operations and gain greater market share in the last few years. Historically posting 10 percent to 20 percent growth in the last 10 years, the company grew its revenues almost 400 percent from 2009 to 2010.

“There were two factors that contributed to our rapid growth. The first was the availability of additional private capital we secured as direct result of our past success, “ CEO Jeff Brock said. “ The second factor was an accelaraton of market dynamics that allowed us to scale our core competencies before competitors raised the necessary capital to compete.”

Providing acquisition, renovation and resale of single-family homes, Key Property Solutions also offers property management and discount brokerage services. Brock said one of the company’s biggest challenges through expansion has been hiring qualified candidates who are prepared for the company’s fast pace. “We have changed our model again to take advantage of new opportunities and while this year may be flat in terms of revenue, we should see increased profitability and believe next year will offer even better revenue growth as we expand to other markets,” Brock said.
